Terms

These terms are a contract between you and Digutopia LLC for the Digutopia household plans. If you do not agree, do not pay or install Digutopia support software.

The service

Digutopia is managed IT for your computers in the United States: always-on Digutopia support software on household Windows PCs and Macs, home DNS protection that blocks known-bad sites and malware domains, security and patching, cleanup you can see, and human help when the work is actually hard. Remote is the default. If it needs hands, we send a tech to the house. We do not promise a van on every block or a 24/7 truck. It is not custom software development, smart-home wiring, or a business IT plan.

The plans

Starter is free. 1 computer. A person is $75 that time. Essentials is $29 a month per person. Or $290 a year. 2 devices. Protected is $69 a month per person. 3 devices. Most people pick this. Complete is $99 a month per person. 5 devices. You and your people, up to 6. Extra inboxes and backup are add-ons. No per-ticket fees. Hardware, parts, and replacement computers are extra and quoted before we order them.

Extra computers

Starter is 1 computer. Essentials is 2 devices. Protected is 3 devices. Complete is 5 devices. Plans are per person. Annual is ten times the monthly rate.

Inbox

Inbox is a real mailbox we run: family domain, first-week migration. Complete includes two. Extra mailboxes are add-ons. Identity watch rides along when the household is on Protected or Complete.

Standard home backup

Backup is an optional add-on at $29.95 per device per month, or $299.50 per device per year. It is billed per machine you enroll, not per household. It is a standard home backup: the operating system, documents, photos, and desktop. It is not a license to store entire media archives, game libraries, or multi-terabyte secondary drives. A fair-use home cap applies. We may ask you to exclude folders that blow past a typical home profile, or quote extra storage, before those files stay on the backup.

Auto-renew

Monthly plans renew each month until you cancel. Annual plans renew each year until you cancel. You authorize Digutopia to charge the card on file. You will see the next charge date in the household portal.

Cancellation

Cancel any time in the portal or by emailing [email protected]. Monthly service continues through the paid period; we do not pro-rate a partial month. Annual plans are prepaid for the year and are not refunded except as required by law. There is no cancellation fee.

Digutopia support software and remote access

By installing Digutopia support software you consent to remote management: inventory, patching, antivirus, cleanup scripts, and, when you ask for help or agree we may fix something, interactive remote control. You can uninstall Digutopia support software at any time. Without it we cannot do the managed work.

Your responsibilities

You must own or have permission to manage the computers you enroll. Keep a current email and mobile number. Leave machines powered on long enough for the first cleanup. Essentials does not include 24/7 watched endpoints, backup, or Inbox. If you add standard home backup, it still has a fair-use cap. Keep a second copy of anything you cannot lose.

What we cannot promise

No one can guarantee a computer will never fail. We work to keep machines patched, cleaner, and watched. Hardware dies. Passwords get forgotten. Internet providers go down. We will show up for those problems; we do not warrant uninterrupted operation or recovery of every file.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by California law, Digutopia’s total liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data beyond a reasonable recovery attempt, or indirect damages.

Law

California law governs these terms. Disputes that we cannot settle in good faith will be heard in the state courts of California.
